‘the unquiet landscape’
‘the unquiet landscape’ exhibition endeavours to highlight the tension between serenity and discomfort, where extraordinary Scottish landscapes provoke both joy and a sense of unsettling instability. I aim to convey that the landscape is not just a peaceful romantic retreat but a dynamic, multifaceted force, filled with emotions and contradictions that demand more intense reflection at a time of challenging environmental threats, urging the viewer to reconsider their perception of the natural world, finding both tranquility and discomfort in equal measure.
